Class B RV floor plans

This is a monster post with all the Class B RV floor plans that I could find (in May 2023)

These are all North American models and where possible, I’ve included the exterior length of the RV, as well as the price.

With the small space of a Class B RV, the layout options are limited; so you’d think it would be a short list. But it’s not!

There are lots of Class B RV manufacturers, and I feel like these smaller RVs are becoming more and more popular.

To try and get some sense of order to this large list of Class B motorhomes, I’ve organised them by the bed layout.

The bed takes up the most space in a camper van, so here are the most common layout plans that are currently available.

Note: I’ve noted the price where I’ve been able to find one. But these are subject to change, so use these as a guide only.

Sofas that convert to a bed

I’ve been somewhat surprised to learn that this layout seems to be the most popular one used by Class B motorhome manufacturers around the country.

It makes for a comfortable place to relax, enables you to have extra seat-belted seats for passengers, while also allowing you to have a comfortable bed each night.

My two concerns would be:

1) whether I could be bothered converting the bed each day and finding space to store all our pillows and comforter, and

2) whether it would really be a comfortable bed?

Here’s a look at all the RV floor plans with a sofa across the back of the Class B that converts into a bed; and you can judge for yourself whether you think this is a good layout.

Thor Sanctuary/Tranquility 19P & 19PT

The Sanctuary and Tranquility have the same layout. The 19P is on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and the 19PT is on the Ford Transit chassis.

Thor Dazzle/Twist 2JB

The major difference between the Dazzle and Twist campervans is … well now, I can’t find anything anywhere that tells me the difference between these 2 Class Bs?!

They’re built on the RAM ProMaster which helps to keep their price at around $120k while still having all the bells and whistles we’ve come to expect of all RVs.

Thor Sequence/Tellaro 20J

And then we have the Sequence/Tellaro campervans which have the same 20J layout.

After a ~~bit~~ lot of research, it seems that the only difference between the Sequence and Tellaro is… wait for it… the decor! Sequence has ‘Miami’ decor while the Tellaro is ‘Crisp Linen’. I’m sure you’re all rolling your eyes as much as I am with that.

The FL model includes a workstation area up the front of the rig, and with both captains chairs being swivel seats, you have two dining area options.

The 70B has a plenty of room for two dining options

The 70X allows for one more passenger, which may make this vehicle more suitable for families.

The 24GL allows for 2 more passengers up front which would make travel days more comfortable, and you can leave the bed made up while still having space for 4 dining.

The 20C floorplan is very similar to all the others, with the wet bath on one side and the kitchen on the other.

The 24FL, 24Q and 24T are all variations of the same layout with front seating for 1, 2 or 3 passengers.

Roadtrek Zion, Zion SRT & Zion Slumber

There are three Zions (Zion, Zion SRT & Zion Slumber) that are all built on the Ram Promaster chassis.

The Zion SRT (shown above) is the shortest of the 3 versions at 19’7″, while the Zion and Zion Slumber are 20’9″.

The Zion Slumber has a pop-top roof which allows sleeping space for 2 more people.

There’s also a dinette option in the Zion and Zion Slumber, which I’ve included in the ‘Convert dining to bed’ section below.

Entegra Coach Expanse & Expanse Li

The difference between the Expanse and Expanse Li is that the Li version has a 10KWh Renogy lithium system and 200 watts of roof-mounted solar panels, compared to the AGM batteries in the non-Li version.

Entegra Coach Ethos 20A & 20D / Ethos Li 20AL & 20DL

The difference between the Ethos and Ethos Li is that this Li has a lithium battery system.

The 20A / 20AL and 20D / 20DL layouts are the same, except that the ‘L’ includes a pop top roof. (Sorry if I’ve made that as clear as mud!)

Jayco Swift 20A & 20D / Swift 20AL & DL

You can see that the Swift / Swift Li is the Jayco version of the Ethos above. Same layout and even the same naming conventions used.

So that concludes all the Class B RVs that have a sofa, either across the back of the van or along the side, that converts into a bed.

The next most popular bed type is the dinette that converts into a bed.

Not only does the rear dining area convert to a bed, it’s also got seatbelts, that makes this a great people mover if that’s what you need.

These two models are the same except that the Slumber has a pop-top which allows for a sleeping area for another 2 people.

Class Bs with (mostly) permanent beds

As you can see, this list is getting HUGE! So I’ve put all the Class B’s that have permanent beds (or at least, mostly permanent) on to another post. You can see all those beds here:

There are a lot of Class B manufacturers, but they pretty much all stick to just a couple of layouts (I mean… in a space that small, there isn’t really too many options!)
