I love blogging about my RV Obsession and these are the tools I use to keep this site running.
Wealthy Affiliate
We use Wealthy Affiliate to host this website, and we love it. The reason we use Wealthy Affiliate is that they’re a one-stop-shop for your domain, hosting, site backups, site security and lots of other things. But, in my opinion, the beauty of Wealthy Affiliate is that they have heaps of tutorials for setting up your website AND how to monetise it.
As I said, there’s heaps of tutorials, but there’s also a very active members forum and you can ask as many questions as you like. We’ve been really happy with Wealthy Affiliate, if you’d like to check them out, here is our link where you can sign up for a free account and have a look around before deciding if it’s right for you.
GetResponse
The email marketing tool we use is GetResponse. While it’s not one of the fancy, popular ones at the moment, we’ve been with GetResponse for a few years and have been happy with how it works. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of some of the other email marketing tools, it also doesn’t have the fancy price tag. We’ve been very happy with it.
Tailwind
Pinterest is one of our top ways of getting traffic to this blog. To help me manage the Pinterest account I use the only Pinterest-approved scheduler, Tailwind.
Once I took the time to figure out how the scheduler works (and there’s heaps of videos online that walk you through it) I realised just how easy it is. Add to that the Tribes feature, and the detailed analytics (THE most detailed analytics you’ll find… even Pinterest itself doesn’t have analytics this good) and it all combines to give you a powerful scheduling tool.
Oh, and Tailwind also schedules to Instagram. Win win, in my book.
Namecheap
If you’re already got a domain, then you don’t need to worry about this. There are heaps of domain suppliers and as far as I can tell, they’re all same, same. We use NameCheap.com. We probably started using them because they had a deal on cheap domains, but kept using them so that we could have all our domains in the same place. But you could try GoDaddy, Crazy Domains, Net Registry or any number of suppliers.
PicMonkey
In case you haven’t heard, Pinterest is currently THE way of getting traffic to your blog, especially if it’s a new blog. The tool that I use to create my pins (that get shared on Pinterest, that brings thousands of visitors to this blog each month) is PicMonkey.

The Blogging Courses I Recommend
Michelle runs the blog Making Sense of Cents and has become the authority on making money through affiliate marketing. She earns over $50,000 per month through affiliate marketing, yes, that’s per month, and that’s only her affiliate income, she makes way more through courses, advertising, sponsored posts etc.
She has created this awesome course ‘Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing‘ that takes you through all the steps to setting your blog up for affiliate sales.
I’m still working my way through all the things she recommends but I highly recommend her course.
