A couple of new manufacturers added to the RV Master List spreadsheet today so make sure you download the latest version here.
Roadtrek
Yes, you’ve probably heard of them as they are a huge contributor to the RV industry, but the reason we did not initially include them on the RV Master List is because we are solely focusing on US manufacturers for the moment, and Roadtrek is based in Canada.
However, even though they are built in Canada, they specifically cater to the whole North American market.
So we went back and forth for a while, trying to decide whether we should include them in the list of US manufacturers, and decided that further down the timeline, when we have pretty much covered all the US brands, we would revisit Roadtrek and have another think about it.
Ultimately, our goal is to provide our readers with as many options as possible so we decided it’s time to include them on the list.
There are other manufacturers based in Canada, and they do sell their RVs to the US market, but we included Roadtrek because, as mentioned above, they specifically cater to the entire North American market, and they are such a big player we didn’t want to do a disservice to our readers.
We will eventually put together a whole new spreadsheet specifically for Canadian RV manufacturers, but that’s a project for another day.

Roadtrek builds some very nice vans and they have 8 different models to choose from, ranging in price from $130,000 to $185,000. They are mostly based on the RAM ProMaster chassis but also include one built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500.

Black Series Off Road
Originally designed and built for the rugged Australian outback, Black Series also manufacture their off-road travel trailers and toy haulers in California.
These aren’t just imported from overseas, they are built right here in the US, with a design that has already proven itself in the harshest of environments.

They have 8 different travel trailers to choose from, with 2 of those being toy haulers.
They range from $72,000 to $101,000 and, in my personal opinion, they look very cool with their straight lines, black trim, and exterior checker plating.
Maybe I’m just biased cos I was born in Australia… who knows?
